We are committed to the provision of appropriate housing and care services for all Asian elderly, disabled and families in Sandwell.

Smethwick ASRA is a community association, a registered charity and a private limited company. ASRA was set up in 1984 by a group of professionals and lay people for the South Asian elderly people who were experiencing personal, social, health and family issues. The organization started with a homeless hostel in Smethwick and worked to promote the relief of poverty, poverty, hardship and distress.

ASRA is able to offer both day care and home care services for Asian elders and respite support for carers. We also provide a fully accessible transport service from the comfort of your own home to ASRA.

We offer assistance with personal, social and domestic care which addresses physical, spiritual, emotional and cultural needs of our service users.
